A Message to Professional Photographers Using PCSWCD Public Land:
PCSWCD loves photographers who visit our privately owned and maintained lands that we make available to the public! We love to share your work and talents within our community, but we also appreciate your support and understanding of our mission!
Photographers are requested to tag Piscataquis County Soil & Water Conservation District on social media. Our Facebook and Instagram pages link to information about our organization and our co-location with the United States Department of Agriculture, a government facility (42 Engdahl Drive, Dover-Foxcroft). Tagging our organization also helps to raise awareness of our important mission and increases our visibility in our county.
Your support can help further our mission. We are always looking for individuals and partners to help support our work through donations to our organization. PCSWCD accepts donations of all sizes! In return, we consider our photographers Conservation Champions and highlight your work and business on our website, newsletters and social media.
The PCSWCD Board of Supervisors states that “any use or monetary gain specifically from the Law Farm property is prohibited unless it is in support for the memorandum of understanding that was outlined in the deed from the Law Family.”
The MOU and Deed from the Law Family specifically states that “NATURAL RESOURCE EDUCATION: PCSWCD agrees to allow public access to this property to educate citizens including schools in all phases of natural resources education and recreational opportunities. The PCSWCD will collaborate and partner with other entities including the school districts on educational activities, which includes earth science and physical education activities, and may include a classroom structure.”
Thank you in advance and we hope to highlight your support and partnership with the use of PCSWCDs lands and you enjoy our trails that we work hard to provide to the public!
