This workshop emphasizes multidisciplinary pedagogy, engaging with students about forests in a way that captures their interests and inspires them to consider forest-based careers. It is geared towards K-12 educators interested in learning how to engage students with the forested ecosystem outside their schools and Foresters interested in honing their community engagement skills through working with kids in K-12 classrooms.
